Course Overview:

The Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management programme been created to develop and reward the hospitality and tourism managers of today and the future, and to continue to bring recognition and professionalism to the management sectors. Entry Requirement:

This is an open entry qualification and the only guidance is that candidates possess an IELTS 5.5 or other evidence of competence in English at this level.

Equivalences:

 Our qualifications at RQF Level 3 represent practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to A level in the UK.

  • Introduction to the Hospitality Industry

  • Introduction to Marketing for Hospitality and Tourism

  • Introduction to Customer Service for Hospitality and Tourism

Assessment & verification:

All units within this qualification are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified. The qualifications are criterion-referenced, based on the achievement of all the specified learning outcomes.To achieve a ‘pass’ for a unit, learners must provide evidence to demonstrate that they have fulfilled all the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all assessment criteria. The judgement that the learners have successfully fulfilled the assessment criteria is made by the Assessor.The Assessor should provide an audit trail showing how the judgement of the learners’ overall achievement has been arrived at.

Progression:

Upon completing this Level 3 diploma, learners can progress to the Level 4 Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management or first year of three year UK universities. Learners can also step directly into employment in an associated profession.
